Port Finished Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey
Overview: Our inaugural Port-Finished Bourbon has arrived. Finished in a Port wine cask from our friends at Fabbioli Cellars, this limited-edition, cask-strength release delivers a rich new expression of Downslope bourbon. Available in extremely limited quantities.
The Port cask adds layers of ripe dark fruit, subtle sweetness and warm baking spice that beautifully complement the caramel, toasted oak and signature sweetness of our Straight Bourbon. Bottled at cask strength, this release delivers a bold yet balanced whiskey with remarkable depth and a long, warming finish.
Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe plum, blackberry and stone fruit layered with vanilla, toasted oak and warm spice.

Palate: Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel and sweet Port unfold alongside baking spice, oak and a hint of dark chocolate.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruit, toasted oak and subtle nuttiness.

Barrel: First filled in #4 charred white American oak barrel then finished in rare Adirondack Cooperage medium toast Port barrel.
