Peat From This Land
Experimental 100% Peated American Single Malt
We didn’t look across the Atlantic for inspiration.
We looked down—into the soil.
Our next single-barrel cask-strength release is an experimental American Single Malt Whiskey shaped entirely by North American terroir. It begins in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, just outside Alamosa, where high-altitude barley is cultivated under intense sun, cold nights, and wide-open skies. That barley is grown and malted by our friends at Colorado Malting Company, longtime champions of Colorado-grown grain and thoughtful malting practices that allow terroir to shine through every step of the process.
The barley is gently smoked with Canadian grass peat, delivering a restrained 20ppm of smoke—lighter, brighter, and unmistakably North American. Aged for over two years in used white American oak barrels, this whiskey allows its origins to speak clearly. No heavy oak influence. No borrowed tradition. Just place, process, and patience.
This is peat without pretense.
Smoke shaped by grasslands, not bogs.
A whiskey defined by where it comes from.
